It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald A. Wacker of Pleasant Valley, New York, born in Poughkeepsie, New York, who passed away on April 22, 2024, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, John A. Wacker and Mary L. Fisher Wacker; and his brother John Wacker. He is survived by : his wife Ida Jo Eastwood; his daughters, Dawn Wacker Tompkins (Robert Tompkins Jr.) of Millbrook, NY and Donna Wacker (Michael Rogers) of Pleasant Valley, NY; his grandchildren, Mackenzie, Kaleigh and Robert III (Tompkins); his sister-in-law Joan Wacker of South Carolina; his nephews, John Wacker (Tami) of Hopewell Junction and James Wacker (Lisa) of South Carolina; and his niece Bonnie Wacker.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 30th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Sweet's Funeral Home (4365 Albany Post Rd, Hyde Park, NY 12538). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 30th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
