She was predeceased by: her husband Roland Plain Sr.; her daughters, Sandra Demelis and Debra Plain; her grandchildren, Chandra Plain, Aaron Plain, Madison Plain and Chad Plain; and her sons-in-law, Charles Demelis Sr., Russ Decker and Paul Kunkel.
She is survived by: her children, Dawn Decker, Roland Jr. (Ligia Plain), Bonnie (Mickey Starzyk), Melodie Kunkel, Perry (Lynita Plain), Bryan (Ella Plain), Mary Plain (Tom Tiffany), Tracey Plain (Benjamin) and Kristin Plain; and her close friend Dile. She is also survived by her 35 grandchildren, 50 great grandchildren and her 7 great great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 1st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Parmele, Auchmoody & Schoonmaker Funeral Home (110 Fulton Ave, Arlington, NY 12603). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
She hosted a variety of fundraising activities, which included fashion shows and auctions, to support organizations such as the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation and the American Cancer Society.
