She was predeceased by: her parents, Cecil D. Sherow and Olive Briggs Sherow; her husband Jack (Jack); her son Peter Smith; and her siblings, C. Douglas Sherow, Eleanor Pink, Dorothy Traver, Jean Gerhards and Gertrude Hewlett.
She is survived by: her children, Philip (Carolyn) of Pine Plains, NY, Tom (Carol) of Rhinebeck, NY and Jennifer (Tim Wengender) of Webster, NY; her daughter-in-law Barbara Smith Komondorea of Newburgh, NY; her grandchildren, Michael, Matthew Smith, Krystal Drumm, Amanda Smith, Colleen Chlus, Monica Smith, Andrew, Rachel and Samuel Wengender; and her sister Carol Hawley. She is also survived by grandchildren and great grandchildren.
