It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Penny A. Hickman of Pleasant Valley, New York, born in Rhinebeck, New York, who passed away on January 6, 2021, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Robert Malcolm Ross and Helen Dillinger; her stepmother Doris Ross; and her husband Donald Hickman. She is survived by : her sister Miste Wells (Gwen); her children, Jeffrey Hickman (Kathy) and Heidi Rowe (Randy); her grandchildren, Rachel Visconti and Joseph Visconti; her stepgrandchildren, Lucas (Samantha), Taylor and Mackenzie; and her sister-in-law Dianne Hickman. She is also survived by several cousins, nieces and nephews.

The family has set up a charity fund that will be distributed among the many charities she volunteered for and that were close to her heart. Condolences and donations can be sent to Penny Hickman Memorial Fund, PO Box 597, Wynantskill, NY 12198.
