She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Sluus and Mary Lewis Sluus; her stepson Todd M. LaClair; and her siblings, Roger J., Robert J., Dennis M. Sluus and Donna Garner.
She is survived by: her husband Richard P. LaClair; her sons, Robert Scott Groves (Mary Theresa) and Darren W. Groves (Kathleen); her stepdaughter Penny Chenette (James); her siblings, Albert J Sluus, Carol DiMaggio (Anthony), Karen Williams, Dawne Webster and Debra Taylor; her grandchildren, Jessica, Riley Groves, Jon Malone, Christopher Chenette, Brandon and Bradley LaClair; and her great grandchildren, Oakley LaClair, Jake and Nate Malone. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
