He was predeceased by: his father Leo "Gabby" Hartnett; and his brother James M. Hartnett. He is survived by: his mother Lois Ryan Hartnett; his sister Leona Gooley (Daryl) of Poestenkill; and his sibling's children, Lauren Algozzine (Keith) of Poestenkill, William Gooley (Kathleen) of Malta, Mia and Gideon.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 8th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Perry-Komdat Funeral Chapel (2691 NY-43, Averill Park, NY 12018). A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 8th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, August 8th 2025 at the Hillside Cemetery (850 NY-351, Poestenkill, NY 12140).
