He was predeceased by: his parents, John P. Mortimer and Ina Sparks Mortimer; and his wife Doris Reckner Mortimer. He is survived by: his children, Gary Mortimer (Kim) of Eustis, FL, Wayne Mortimer (Jo-Anne) of Averill Park, Brian Mortimer (Karen) of Brunswick and Gail Mortimer of Wyoming, NY; his sister Mary Mortimer of East Greenbush; and his sister-in-law Sally Mortimer of Four Oakes, CA. He is also survived by several grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 24th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Perry-Komdat Funeral Chapel (2691 NY-43, Averill Park, NY 12018). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, June 25th 2025 at the Evergreen Cemetery (413 Main Ave, Wynantskill, NY 12198).
