He was predeceased by: his parents, Martin L. Powell and Cora B. Powell (Beatty). He is survived by: his wife Barbara Powell (Demmon) of Port Byron; his children, Michael Powell (Karen) and Lauri Barnes (Michael) of Port Byron; his grandchildren, Erica L. Adkins (Henry), Erin M. Kliniske (Nathan), Jacob C. DeChick and Kaitlin A. DeChick; his great grandchildren, Ethan, Emyah, Elijah, Eizac, Evyn, Parker, Rowan, Ivy and Isabel; and his siblings-in-law, Amy Warrington (James), Ben Demmon (Teresa) and Patricia Smith. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Pettigrass Funeral Home (196 Genesee St, Auburn, NY 13021). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
