It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Kenneth Longyear of Port Byron, New York, who passed away on August 10, 2025, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Winford Longyear and Fabiana DeBois Longyear; and his brother Jim Longyear. He is survived by: his wife Laurie Longley Longyear; his children, Steven Short, John Short, Sarah Casler (Dan), Katharine Longyear and Matthew Longyear; his grandchildren, Kayla Longyear, Nathan Casler, Charlee Clink, Cade Clink and Lucas Casler; and his sisters, Laraine Roberts and Kathleen Spingler (Ken). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
