Lyman Wethey Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Lyman Wethey of Port Byron, New York, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 28, 2026 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though Lyman may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Lyman touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Wethey and Lois Marshall Wethey. He is survived by: his sisters, Kathryn Schnur of Wilmington and Ruth Wethey of Port Byron. He is also survived by six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
