He was predeceased by: his parents, Nannie Gundy Bernard and George Bernard; and his sister Deborah McLean (Debi) of Port Chester, NY.. He is survived by: his wife Pearl Nelson Bernard (Cherry); his children, Kerri Bernard James of White Plains, NY, Kristy Bernard Tsadick of Redwood City, CA and Richard Bernard Jr.; his grandchildren, Mariah Tsadick and Eliana James; and his siblings, Janice Bernard of Delaware and George Bernard Jr. of Delaware. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws, and friends.
