He was predeceased by: his parents, John Knox and Marion Knox; his siblings, Joan Garrison and Tom Knox; and his daughters, Tracie Begeal and Heidi Young.
He is survived by: his wife Margaret "Peggy" Knox; his daughters, Jennifer VanLuvender (Jim) and Rebecca Morgan (Bill); his sons-in-law, Daniel Begeal and David Young; his brother-in-law Bill Humphrey (Kathy); his grandchildren, Elizabeth Stever (Ben), Aimee VanLuvender, Kaitlyn Zandt (Paul), James VanLuvender, Andrew Begeal (Ashley), Autumn, Amanda and Sara Morgan; and his great grandchildren, Zackary, Lillian, Grayson, Parker, Benjamin, Liam, Easton, Harrison and Winter.
