With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of James E. Wenzel Sr. of Port Ewen, New York, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 12, 2025 at the age of 71. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of James E. Wenzel Sr. to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard William and Matilda Rose Wenzel (Sisovsky); and his siblings, Richard, Robert, William, Barbara, Peter, Maryann, Jean, Marshall Kithcart, George "Buddy" Bunt and Tom Barton.
He is survived by: his children, Traci Ashe (Donovan) of Kingston, James "Zeke" Wenzel (Caitlin) of St. Remy, Geoffrey Wenzel (Christine Olivier) of Kingston and Rose Wenzel (Adam Bahl) of Hurley; the mother of his children Helga Wenzel of Greenville; his grandchildren, Jalen, Briana, Kamrynn Ashe, Zeke, Sophia Wenzel, Hudson, Cora Wonderly, Otis Olivier-Wenzel and Emerson Bahl; his great grandchild Chase Coddington; his daughter-in-law Shannon Wenzel; and his siblings, George Wenzel and Elizabeth Dunn. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
