He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Schick and Ella Schick (Freer); and his siblings, Ronald, Norman Schick and Lois Munson.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy Schick of Port Ewen; his children, Christa Bronson (Rodney) of Saugerties, Brian Schick (Robin) of Ulster Park and Katie Schick of Lake Katrine; his grandchildren, Olivia Bronson and Camille Dunham (Eric); his stepchildren, Scott Perry (Lauren) and Amanda Stokes (Allen); his stepgrandchildren, Dylan, Kevin, Dominic of Allisyn, A. J. and Kiera; his former wife Carol Schick; his niece Karen; his nephew Kevin; and his close friends, Pat and Ted DeGraff.
