He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Shelightner and Lillian Shelightner (Fairbrother); and his brother Franklyn Shelightner. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Shelightner (Betty); his daughter Lori-Jean; his son-in-law Brian McGowan (Chelsea McGowan); his nieces and nephews, Debra, Brian Martin, Brian Shelightner, Arthur, Patricia Shelightner, Alicia, Greg Jocelyn, Roscoe Pecora and Roxanne Pecora; and his cousin Kevin Fairbrother.
