He is survived by: his wife Deborah Mischenko (Gregory) of Mineville, NY; his brother Thomas Mischenko of Schroon Lake, NY; his son John S. Mischenko of Queensbury, NY; his stepson Matthew Mischenko (French) of Glens Falls, NY; his daughter Amanda Boivain (Mischenko) of Glens Falls, NY; and his stepdaughters, Susan Ramirez (Mischenko) of Glens Falls, NY, Jeni Gonyea (Mischenko) of Glens Falls, NY, Melinda and Jessica Kipp (Gregory) of Vermont. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
