“A fellow runner from the Port Jefferson class of 1954 who just turned 90 in March remembers Mike very well even though many years and places intervene. Two of our daughters posted a photo of their father in the skilled nursing home for father’s day of the ‘54 county relay. Of course Mike was there as well as running mate Richard Holschuh. Our children could never beat their father in a race. Mikes children would probably say amen. Yes!”
