With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Wavalyn Odelle DiFabio in Port Jefferson, New York, born in West Monroe, Louisiana, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. As Wavalyn departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Wavalyn may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Wavalyn leaves behind.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Fred DiFabio; her children, Joanna Fruhauf (John), Donna Stanfield (Brian) and Anthony DiFabio (Bobbie Jo); and her grandchildren, Daniel, David, Deborah, Justin, Aleena and Jocelyn. She was also cherished by three great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 14th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Michael J. Grant & Thomas A. Marinello Funeral Home of Coram (493 Middle Country Rd, Coram, NY 11727).
