Rita M. O'Brien Obituary
The memory of Rita M. O'Brien (Port Leyden, New York), who passed away on October 20, 2025 at the age of 82, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred Rocker and Margaret Beck Rocker; her husband Francis E. O'Brien of Martin's Catholic Church; her grandson Alexander F. Tierno; and her siblings, Paul B. Rocker and Lois Rocker DeFio.
She is survived by: her children, Kathleen O'Brien Tierno of Boonville, Joseph F. O'Brien of Baldwinsville, Dr. John P. O'Brien (Anna) of Fayetteville and Molly O'Brien Healy (Robert) of Sherrill; her grandchildren, Olivia Tierno-Humpf (Dalton), Katherine, Mary, James O'Brien and Ella Healy; and her brothers, Larry, Peter and Rev. Stephen Rocker. She is also survived by her four children and their spouses, along with her five grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Martin's Catholic Church (7108 North St, Port Leyden, NY 13433).
