He is survived by: his mother Viola Nolan Taggerty; his children, Kaitlyn Taggerty and Zachary Taggerty; his sisters, Janet Filips (Robert) and Colleen Taggerty (John Morton); and his nieces and nephews, Jamie Burke, Dan Filips, Rhonda Callahan (Shawn), Sonya Morse and Steve Chambers (Julie).
