It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Esther Wilson of Potsdam, New York, who passed away on May 6, 2026, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, T. Berton Smith and Flora Smith (Lewis); and her siblings, Charles Smith and Margaret "Peg" Sylstra. She is survived by: her children, John D. Wilson and Laura E. Bess; her grandchildren, Mariah Franclemont (Joshua) and Morgan Wilson; her sisters, Carolyn of Georgia, Irma Petley (Dave) and Fern Pierce; and her sister-in-law Jude Smith.
