He is survived by: his wife Rebecca Muir MacKellar; his children, Shannon James MacKellar (Gwendolyn Peters) of Shelburn Indiana and Gavin MacKellar of Potsdam, NY; his grandson Maverick James MacKellar of Shelburn Indiana; and his siblings, Bruce William MacKellar (Kristine) of Canisteo, NY and Margaret Alice MacKellar (Richard Preis) of Lake Placid, NY. He is also survived by several cousins and 7 nieces and nephews.
In Lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Potsdam Trinity Episcopal Church Sandstone Restoration Fund or Hospice of St Lawrence Valley.
