She was predeceased by: her parents, Alexander Castagnier and Mary Castagnier (Langlois); her spouse Aras A. Smith; and her son Stanley Smith. She is survived by: her children, Carol Smith of Ogdensburg, Brian (Natalya Smith), Joanne (Dane Merritt), Kathy (Gary Egli), Clark (Sharon Smith), Jacqueline Smith of Scotia and Susan Pascale of Ballston Spa; and her sister Loretta Roach of Englewood, Florida. She is also survived by 26 grandchildren and 41 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her memory to a charity of one's choice.
