He is survived by: his wife Ruth Edla Williams Maher of Poughkeepsie; his children, Cynthia Ann Maher Beale, Scott Alan Maher (Elizabeth), Christopher Albert Maher and Craig Andrew Maher; and his grandchildren, Kathryn (Scott Passierb), Laura (Samuel Dolan), Alyse and Cassandra.
