It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Alfonso Viani of Poughkeepsie, New York, who passed away on November 14, 2021, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, George Viani and Geni Viani (Bertolozzi); his sisters, Louise Viani and Elisa Scardaci; and his brothers-in-law, Sam Scardaci and Dick Gorges.

He is survived by: his children, Dr. Alan Viani (Shelly) of Poughkeepsie, NY, Thomas Viani (Pamela) of Pleasant Valley, NY, Paul Viani (Sandra) of Hyde Park, NY and Robert Viani (Kathleen) of Pleasant Valley, NY.; his grandchildren, Jenna Pascale (Matt), Julianne Braen (Josh), Jaclyn DaSilva (Eliel), Amy Knox (Peter), Elizabeth Viani, Eric Viani (Paige), Kayla Viani (Mark Philips), Daniel Viani and Rachel Viani; and his siblings, Ann Gorges and Joseph Viani (Lynn). He is also survived by 12 great grandchildren.
