She was predeceased by: her parents, Floyd Lavinius Parks and Harriet Marie Applebye-Robinson; her brothers, Manley Parks and Bill (MaryJane); and her husband Richard Strain.
She is survived by: her brother Floyd Parks (Lanny); and her children, Edwyna'Teddy'Mulrow (Bill), Karen Smythe (Nevill), Linda Hillery (Matt) and John Strain (Richard Martin). She is also survived by her eight grandchildren and great granddaughter.
She was 88 years old and died of complications from many years of battling Parkinson's disease.
