He was predeceased by: his parents, George Herzfeld and Lena Rhynders Herzfeld; and his siblings, Bernie, Gordon, Virginia and Jean.
He is survived by: his sister-in-law Marie Herzfeld of Hyde Park; and his sibling's children, Loretta Bougades (Manny) of Clinton Hollow, Lena Merritt (Alvin) of Amenia, Liz McPhee of Hyde Park, Bernie Herzfeld (Heidi) of Hyde Park, Linda Sullivan, Dan Hatch (Linda) of Maine and Tim Hatch (Jean) of Pennsylvania.
