She was predeceased by: her parents, Gysbert Vleming and Maria Vleming; and her husband Ed. She is survived by: her children, Robert E. (Cindy Shortt), John (Barbara Shortt), Diane B. Shortt of Poughkeepsie, NY and Richard (Lynn Shortt); her grandchildren, Daniel, Tiffany, Heather, Alyson and Christopher; and her great grandchildren, Collin, Audrey, Logan and Andrew. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 21st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the William G. Miller & Son Funeral Home, Inc. (371 Hooker Ave, Poughkeepsie, NY 12603). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 22nd 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the same location.
