She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl E. Berg and Ethel Valentine Dinsdale Berg; her husband Donald H. Hopkins; and her sisters, Barbara Hallihan and Nancy Berg.
She is survived by: her children, James C. Hopkins, Deborah L. Marchant, Mark D. Hopkins (Leanne DePalma), Judith C. Hopkins and David F. Hopkins; her grandchildren, David Marchant, Jackson, Gavin Olenski, Jade and Taylor DePalma; and her brother David Berg (Betty Jean) of Utah. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, October 18th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Sweet's Funeral Home (4365 Albany Post Rd, Hyde Park, NY 12538). A celebration of life was held on Sunday, October 18th 2026 at 2:30 PM at the same location.
