He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles J Volkman and Marion West Volkman; and his sisters, Marie Van Scoy and Joan Schneider. He is survived by: his wife Barbara R. Tavss; his son Scott; his daughter-in-law Patricia Volkman of Poughkeepsie; his daughter Dawn; his son-in-law Alex Lopez of Frankford; and his grandchildren, Alexandra, Alizabeth Volkman, Jason Lopez (Dana) and Melissa Lopez. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
