Because of COVID and Chris' often-stated desire to have people remember him as he was, there will not be formal funeral services or a wake. Sometime in the Spring or Summer 2021, once COVID is contained, his family will have a celebration of his life where family, friends, neighbors and co-workers who loved and liked him can come together to honor him and remember him with the love and humor that was such an integral part of him.

“One of my absolute favorite professors of my college career. He was such a great and amazingly funny guy who made going to class worth it. I had him as a professor at SUNY Ulster about 3-4 years ago and still think about that class and the impact it left on me to this day. I will never forget him and his impact he had on me. He truly was an amazing man who’s mark has been left on anyone he has taught. Thoughts and Prayers with his family and friends during this time. ❤️”
