She is survived by: her children, Colleen McGarry (Adam Plain) and Bryan McGarry; her brother John McDermott; her brother-in-law G. Allen McGarry (Anna); her niece Jenna McDermott; and her granddaughter Eryn Plain.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Sweet's Funeral Home (4365 Albany Post Rd, Hyde Park, NY 12538). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church (775 Main St, Poughkeepsie, NY 12603).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to Make-A-Wish and/or Columbia Presbyterian Neuro-oncology in Colleen's memory.
