With profound sadness, we say goodbye to David Sleight (Poughkeepsie, New York), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. David left this world on February 22, 2026 at the age of 91, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his wife Margaret Sleight; his parents, David Sleight and Mildred Sleight; and his sister Diane. He is survived by: his sister Joyce Yonke; his children, Brenda Sleight, David (Marie Sleight), Richard (Karen Sleight) and Jason Sleight; his grandchildren, David, Kristin, Samantha, Jenna, Madison and Marshal; and his great grandchildren, Wyatt, Cameron, Zachary, Daniel, Breia and Jack. He is also survived by Nieces, nephews, cousins, and close friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 7th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Timothy P. Doyle Funeral Home (371 Hooker Ave, Poughkeepsie, NY 12603).
