In the sacred silence of farewell, Dennis is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Dennis' spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.

He was predeceased by: his parents, John Murphy and Mary Murphy. He is survived by: his wife Cathy A. Murphy (Court); his siblings, Patrick Murphy and Jacqueline Lake (Murphy); and his grandsons, William, Alexander, Tyler and Hudson.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Timothy P. Doyle Funeral Home (371 Hooker Ave, Poughkeepsie, NY 12603).

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you honor Dennis by sharing a meal with someone you love or reading a good book in his memory.
