It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edward F. Gyger (Poughkeepsie, New York), who passed away on April 18, 2026, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick Gyger and Florence Fletcher Gyger. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Ann Gyger; his children, Stephen M. Gyger (Maureen), Frederick E. Gyger (Deborah), Ann F. Musa (Daniel) and Jennifer L. Gyger; and his grandchildren, Sean, Darragh, Rebekah, Matthew, Bryan, Dominic, Thomas, Stephaine, Andrew and Nicolas. He is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Edward's name to Holy Trinity Church, 775 Main Street, Poughkeepsie, New York 12603.
