He was predeceased by: his sisters, Joanne and Pat. He is survived by: his wife Mary Ellen; his daughter Mary Balfour (Rick); his grandchildren, Lindsey and Michael; his great grandchild Michael; his son John Martin (Michelle); his granddaughter Kierstin; his son Edward Martin (Susan); his grandchildren, Alyssa, Brandon and Kyle; his great grandchildren, Hudson and Dylan; his daughter Joan Horning (Ed); his grandchildren, Erin, Brianna and Danielle; his son Michael Martin; his parents-in-law, Robert, Susan Buckley, Katherine Gorman and Patricia Turner; and his brother James.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Mental Health of America or Hudson Valley Hospice.
