Edwin C. LaPerche Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Edwin C. LaPerche of Poughkeepsie, New York, born in Albany, New York, who passed away on October 21, 2025 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Edwin may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Edwin touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his son Mark LaPerche. He is survived by: his wife Sandra LaPerche; his sons, Edwin LaPerche Jr. (Jane Schurrig) and Doug LaPerche (Victoria Anderson); and his grandchildren, Nicholas LaPerche, Danielle LaPerche, Mark LaPerche Jr., Sandy LaPerche and Sara LaPerche.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Saint Joseph's Church (34 S Chestnut St, New Paltz, NY 12561).
