“Just heard about this sad news today. I graduated with Liz in 1981 from The Catholic University. We last spoke in 2016 when I called her about coming to homecoming. I'm rather certain I was her only connection from her college days. We met freshman week and stayed close for the four years till graduating. I'll admit this was absolutely devastating news to me despite the long years gone by. I offer consolations to her family that I never met. And I will think of her often and miss her so.”
