He was predeceased by: his parents, Gilbert Keene and Maud Keene (Taggart); his stepmother Christina Keene; and his siblings, Gilbert Keene, Benjamin Keene and Margaret Durant.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Keene (Martell); his daughters, Tara Keene of Torrington, CT and Maura Keene of Chesapeake, VA.; his grandchildren, Brianna Brang and Jonathan Keene-Sommers; his close friend Terry Williams; and his caregiver Jackie. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
