He was predeceased by: his parents, William Carey and Margaret Cox Carey; his siblings, Mary, William, Hugh, Margaret and Kathleen; his niece Kathy Aron; his great-niece Elizabeth Sarah; and his great-nephew Philip Austin.
He is survived by: his wife Dr. Lois Carey; his former wife Jane Needham McIlreavy; his daughter Michele Carey-Moody (Thomas Moody Jr.); his grandchildren, Delaney and Charlotte of Westport, CT.; his daughter Sarah Anne Panciera (Robert Panciera Jr); his grandsons, Noah Aiden and Jonah Asher of Ft; his stepdaughter Elizabeth Egan (Robert Egan); his stepgrandson Sean; his stepson Christopher Lopez (Christine Lopez); his stepgrandchildren, Robert of Long Island, NY., Jack of Long Island, NY. and Emma of Long Island, NY.; and his sibling's children, Ann Marie Maglione, Eileen Kochis, Margaret Kozlark, Laura Brooks, Tip Rogers, Maureen Atteberry, Mary Lou Brawn, Hugh, William Reynolds, Mike Weber, Thomas Kozlark and Timothy Carey. He is also survived by Many cousins, grand nieces and nephews, coworkers and friends.
