He is survived by: his children, Desiree S. King (Clyde) of Poughkeepsie, Christopher Bland of Williamsport, PA and Elder Wendell Bland of Orangeburg, SC; his siblings, Rosie Peterson of Rose Hill, NC, Ollie Kelly of Poughkeepsie, Ethel Townsend of Poughkeepsie and Carl Bland of Roselle, NJ; and his nephew Travis Bland (Ursula) of Poughkeepsie. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, several great-grandchildren.
