She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles E. Rogers and Marjorie Simmons Rogers; her close friend Donald Belknap; her former husband Dallas Carpenter; her siblings, Nora Mae Trudell, Bettie Jane Brown and Charles "Pat" Rogers; and her son Stephen E. Carpenter.
She is survived by: her daughter Colleen Carpenter Misner (Scott) of Clinton Corners; her granddaughter Elisabeth Marie Misner of Clinton Corners; and her sibling's children, Bonnielee Paonessa, Carolanne Campilii, Michael Brown, Timothy Brown and Dominick Sculco. She is also survived by grandnieces and nephews, and a multitude of friends.
