She was predeceased by: her parents, Abraham Newkirk and Mary Ada Litts Newkirk; and her son John Wallace Jr.. She is survived by: her daughters, Patricia Jessup of Lagrange, NY, Mary Poskitt of Bartow, Sharon (Bruce Terrelonge) of Wappingers, NY and Stephanie Williams of Wappingers, NY. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, twenty-six great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Timothy P. Doyle Funeral Home (371 Hooker Ave, Poughkeepsie, NY 12603). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the St. Peters Cemetery.
