As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Helene may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Peter Demelis and Bessie Demelis (Smith); and her husband Eric James Keller. She is survived by: her children, Rondi Kirkland, Eric Peter Keller and Stacy Maddalena (Michael); her grandchildren, Kristian Kirkland (Christina Barber), Michelangelo Maddalena and Sophia Helene Maddalena; her half-sisters, Theresa Adams and Honey Mergendahl; and her pet Charlie.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 21st 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Parmele, Auchmoody & Schoonmaker Funeral Home (110 Fulton Ave, Arlington, NY 12603). A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Peter's Cemetery (171 Salt Point Turnpike, Poughkeepsie, NY 12603).
