She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Frommhold and Adele Frommhold (Pieper); and her son Charles Albert. She is survived by: her brother Rudolph Frommhold of Beacon, NY; her cousins, Linda Gronlund of Absecon, NJ and Paul Pieper of Denville, NJ; her children, C. Christian LaPolt of Poughkeepsie, NY and Lisa Karim of West Hartford, CT; her granddaughters, Hannah of West Hartford, CT, Libby of West Hartford, CT and Emmy Karim of West Hartford, CT; and her goddaughters, Mandy Frommhold of Saugerties, NY and Stephanie White of Absecon, NJ. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
