With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joan C. Alongi of Poughkeepsie, New York, who passed away on April 8, 2024 at the age of 88. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Joan C. Alongi to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Mabel Inez (Leonard) and John "Jack" Lynch; her significant other Ralph Alongi; and her siblings, William, Donald, Fred, Edna, Nancy Ann and Mary.

She is survived by : her children, John (Jenn), Mark (Jenn), Anthony (Carolyn) and Ann Marie (John); her brother Victor Leonard; and her sister-in-law Phyllis Alongi. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Sunday, April 14th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the G. Miller & Son F. H. (371 Hooker Ave, Poughkeepsie, NY 12603). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, April 15th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Mary's Church (231 Church St, Poughkeepsie, NY 12601).
