In loving memory of John M. Rauschenbach of Poughkeepsie, New York, who departed this world on May 8, 2025 at the age of 53. John leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Hans "Ron" Rauschenbach. He is survived by: his mother Margaret "Peggy" Rauschenbach; his pets, Pete, Bubbles, Kiki, Willie, Buddy and Ella; his wife Dawn McKenzie; his sister Jeannie Newman (Bill); his nieces and nephews, Lauren and Ryan Newman; and his brother Ronald Rauschenbach (Dina). He is also survived by in-laws, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 13th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc. (895 NY-82, Hopewell Junction, NY 12533). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 13th 2025 at 6:30 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in John's name to both Greystone Programs Inc., and to the Dutchess County ASPCA.
