Josefina N. Gutmann Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Josefina N. Gutmann (Poughkeepsie, New York), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 1, 2025 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Josefina leaves behind and her impact on the lives of her loved ones. Though Josefina may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the memories held dear by her family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
She is survived by: her husband Alois Gutmann; her children, Vera Nash and Martin Gutmann; her grandsons, Arthur Nash and Louis Gutmann; her daughter-in-law Ryen Gutmann; and her sisters, Lourdes Bongcayao and Virginia Nazarea.
A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, December 9th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the St. Martin de Porres Church (118 Cedar Valley Rd, Poughkeepsie, NY 12603).
