He was predeceased by: his parents, Nicholis Blasi and Anna Megna; and his former wife Jean Shields Blasi. He is survived by: his wife Judith Clemente.

“Julian was , at my first, my neighbor. It did not take long before he became my dear friend. For over twenty years, Julian delighted me with the stories of his past as a young boy growing up in the City of Poughkeepsie, his school days, time spent in the Army, and his countertop business he created as a young man until his retirement in 2000. I especially enjoyed sitting outside with Julian on nice days and just talking about life. I loved my friend and will miss him very much.”
