Karen Elizabeth Morales Obituary
We announce the death of Karen Elizabeth Morales of Highland, New York, who passed away on October 14, 2026, at the age of 66. Karen will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Karen will be remembered for the impact she had on the lives of those around her. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Those who knew Karen will remember moments of kindness, warmth, and presence. Though words cannot fully capture her life, the legacy of connections and experiences remains. Karen’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued her companionship.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Prospero "Gin" Giangrasso and Edna "Midge" Giangrasso. She is survived by: her husband Louie Morales of Highland; her daughters, Nicole Wells (Nick Wells) and Alicia Morales (Dominick Panzarino); her granddaughter Gianna Wells; and her siblings, Susan Weiss (Dan Weiss), Diana Sroka (Ken Sroka) and Jim Giangrasso (Cathy Giangrasso). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncles.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, October 20th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Michael Torsone Memorial Funeral Home, Inc. (38 Main St, Highland, NY 12528). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Augustine Roman Catholic Church (55 Main St, Highland, NY 12528).
